Boullion
Bouillon is a stencil typeface designed by Mariel Nils (NTF) and Océane Juvin for the Les Résistances festival. This event took place in 2025 and was co-organised by the Terres de Luttes association, Collectif 924 and volunteers from Normandy and elsewhere. This typeface was developed with the aim of creating signage painted on site, in a flexible and collaborative manner. Its design seeks to incorporate the stencil as a means of creating a typographic system, generating swirls and joyful movements. The typeface was not selected by the organisers of Les Résistances. The typeface was put into practice during the feminist demonstration on 8 March 2026 in Brussels by Océane and Mariel, along with members of Impression Forte. On this occasion, the letters were painted, sewn and cut out to create large banners and costumes.
